Online Career

Like the Solo Career, the Online Career is the main game type for PGR3 multiplayer gamers. All races are ranked, and every event you take part in affects your TrueSkill rating. In OC there are multiple championships, each with a different type of event contained within them. (for example, "Gotham Duelling" is nothing but head-to-head races). The car class for each championship rotates daily to keep things fresh.

Tournaments

PGR3 includes a full tournament system. The first stage is Qualification, in which you must race the qualifying track/car as fast as possible. If your time is fast enough you'll place in the top 64 and move through to Elimination. In this stage you compete in a bracket system, attending several scheduled knockout events until you reach the final. If you're skilled enough you'll win the final and become the PGR3 world champion!

Playtime

Like single player Playtime, when you play this mode online you'll find that all cars and tracks are unlocked immediately. In addition to the single player Playtime game modes, you can also race Team Cone Capture and Cat and Mouse here. Playtime is available over System Link or Xbox Live.
