Re: PGR4 Achievements list online
Some great achievements there.
One thing that worries me - as the majority of achievements are structured to be achievable by less hardcore players (those completing the game on silver or below), does this mean that say a bronze player would be able to get to rank one on single player career. If so won't this make single player career too easy for the gold/platinum player?

Most interesting piece of that for me is the number of people that completed PGR3 on Platinum...

Re: PGR4 Achievements list online
seems like we might have to become friends of BC to get some easy GS
I was suprised by how few people completed the game on gold! I am glad to see that the platinum racers only get a few more points now, it seems a good idea to me, and will help me in my GS battle

Hmmm. Call me old fashioned, but if somethings harder to do than something else, the reward should be bigger. I'm, sorry, but if you suck at racing games, then your gamerscore should suffer accordingly.

Re: PGR4 Achievements list online
Achievement scores are okay for individual games, but I've always believed in setting my own targets in games (as much as the game allows). The problem with achievements is they vary in difficulty so much from game to game that one game's achievements can be 10x another game's achievements in difficulty. Therefore no one's gamerscore is really a reflection of their skill, but rather a reflection of how much they have played a particular game.
I've also heard that some of the top people with over 50,000 gamer points have been cheating.
On top of all this, sometimes achievements encourage you to play a game in a way that you may not particularly wish to. I did fall into the trap at one point of spending hours trying to achieve something just to get the points and NOT because I was actually enjoying the task.
With PGR2/PGR3 and PGR4 getting Platinums means far more to me than achievements.
