Wow - major let down on that video. You only have to use the face buttons. I was under the impression that you had to do them and the D-pad in concert. This is gonna be really easy now. Like guitar hero on Medium without having to strum

As Steve said, more PGR4.
I don't want it oversimplified. Next to games like Guitar Hero I and II, Amplitude, and others, this is a cake walk. Just press the buttons? four of them? No matter how fast it becomes, it's still very simple. The fact that you could play with one hand bothers me you know.
I have no doubt that the game will be good, if not awesome. It's just that I was let down because I thought it would be more challenging.

Amplitude only had three buttons and some of the later levels were ridiculously hard. It all depends on the rhythms
I have a few questions about the game. Will Boom Boom Rocket be playable on the guitar or dance pad? Will it be ported to Vista like Geometry Wars?

It only had 3 buttons, but at least you had to switch between multiple channells (tracks). This, you can use 1 hand, and just press the same 4 buttons. No moving, only timing on one track. See what I mean?
Oh man - if you can play it on the guitar, even easier

Didn't look all that straight forward to me with the size of some of the explosions you can't see what button it is when they get to the line so you would have to concentrate more on the beat than actual visual clues like most games of this type in fact looking at the video at some points you had to remember quite a few buttons disappearing into explosions so without memorizing hole sequences it would be pretty tough to do on the fly.
Music's really cool as well I like what you've done it's every bit as good as I imagined

I have no doubt that the game will be good. But most people who are decent at rythm games never look at the "line" or what have you. You look at the upcoming notes and listen to the music to know when to press them. The explosions will have little effect on your concentration, especially if you're used to games like Geometry Wars.
If you look at the line, you're just gonna be behind. As long as you look like 3-5 notes ahead of the line, you shouldn't have any problems.
Remember too, I still think the game will be fun, just telling you guys what I observed.
