We hope you've all had a great Christmas and a splendid New Years, and are looking forward to 2009 as much as we are! Bizarre Creations is now back in action, and we've definitely hit the ground running in the past couple of days!

Looking back at the past year, 2008 was a pretty good twelve months for Bizarre. The Club was released in February, as well as Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 during Microsoft's Summer of Xbox Live Arcade. We celebrated a year of being part of Activision Blizzard (as it is now known), and welcomed quite a few new people to the company as we ramp up on the next big projects.

Our 2008 Charity Drive also came to a close, with an amazing £6,899 (GBP) raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care. We ran marathons, abseiled, walked for miles, jumped out of planes, and climbed mountains on the other side of the world! Oh, and we've already started planning our 2009 charity events too...

At the end of the year we all got together for the traditional Bizarre Christmas party/piss-up. This time the fancy dress theme was "The Wild West". Check out some of these amazing photographs!

One last thing. We've readied a small gift for those of you who love the music to Geometry Wars.

Chris Chudley (of Audio Antics) was kind enough to put together a badass Megamix, featuring some of the songs from the entire GW series in a 13 minute long special remix version.
